Powerhouse vocalist Ella Monnery from The Voice AU takes to the stage with two epic nights of disco, R&B, and soul, in a roof-raising celebration of live music. Bringing back the best of the era to funk you up with a brand-new POWERHOUSE concert.
After her debut POWERHOUSE concert in 2019, Coca Cola’s Christmas in the Park and Synthony, Ella returns to Wellington with a reimagined sequel set-setlist featuring the music of Chaka Khan, Luther Vandross, Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, and many more from the decades of disco and musical decadence. Bringing the house down with some of Aotearoa’s finest funk musicians from the 09 Session Band, POWERHOUSE is accompanied by Ross Nansen, Moiho Leaupepe, Isaac Etimani, Jireh Falaniko and the dynamic horn duo Brass4sho Thabani Gapara and Christian Mausia. Supported by backing vocalists Hannah McGrail and Nate Dousand, this is more than just a gig, it’s a transcendent evening of musicianship and pure entertainment with New Zealand’s own powerhouse talent.
