Jazz pianist Bill Martin is well known to Dunedin audiences from his long standing solo piano residency at Dog with Two Tails Cafe. During the lockdown period, he recorded 35 jazz standards on the grand piano in his basement. For this gig, he teams up with long term collaborators Andy Lynch (bass) and Kevin Finigan (drums) to present piano trio versions of his original compositions and jazz standards. These compositions were recorded in an album titled Dark Water in 2017.
