Ambient, industrial and post-punk sound and moving image from Ethersonic.
The Christchurch Ethersonic team will perform tracks heading for release on vinyl this year and project film fragments from the UK’s Loophole Cinema archive along with screening work by filmmakers Greg Pope (Oslo) and Karel Doing (UK).
Ethersonic is the solo project of Ben Hayman ex This Sporting Life (NZ), Massive Stereo Sellout (NZ) and Loophole Cinema (UK). Hayman has established collaborations in each city where Ethersonic stage events. In Christchurch this includes founding This Sporting Life band member Daron Johns on drums and Bryan Peters on bass guitar.
All donation proceeds go to the venue with a minimum donation of $10 please. Doors open at 8, event from 9 - 11. Tickets at the door or via UnderTheRadar.
