Commanders-in-chief for the night will be Wellington power-trio, axÆon. Expect powerful, melodic vocals from Gerry Blair (Lead Vox/Guitar) complemented by the ultra-tight rhythm section by Shane Robinson (Drums) & Kurt Harniss (Bass).
Since 2017, axÆon have played alongside a Who's Who of the Wellington rock scene including Hault, The Sun Kings & Planet Hunter with accolades including being a part of the Lovelands Festival, Gnome Grown 2019 and the coveted NZ Battle of The Bands National Championship.
Second-in-command are Palmerston North alt-rock quartet, On The Ledge. Originally formed in 2012 as a cover band playing the local Manawatu pub scene, they now have their own arsenal of ripping tunes bringing everything to the table: Hard Rock, Pop Punk, Screamo, Grunge, Metal & more.
