Duckbrewe Skate Festival with music, street food & craft beer at Two Thumb Brewery, Christchurch. Watch some of NZ's best skaters battle it out for $5K in prizes. We've got all day music with 7 DJs & 2 live bands, craft beer deals plus food from Empire Chicken and El Taquito.
The Deep Frequency sound system will be blasting ramp side all day with music from ET, Formatics, Infectiouss, the Most Known Unknown & the SUB:BASS Crew jamming out drum n bass, old school hiphop, breaks, dubstep and more. In the courtyard we'll have two live shows with hiphop from Juana Kino in the day & Christchurch rock band Pieces of Molly after the comp. There's even a cheeky late night vinyl session happening at the inside bar witH SUB:BASS sound system from 9pm.
Skaters will compete on a custom build ramp made by South Island skatepark builders Civil Parks. There will also be the chance for a free skate on a flatland set up in the courtyard and even test out a Duckewe Bamboo deck.
