After dropping the long-awaited EP, Nautical Nectar, Marmalade Skies follows up with the music video for Mount Girls, shot and directed by Ylia and Meg Trotter. The up and coming indie rock band share a lighthearted summer tune, rich with surfy guitar riffs and an anthemic chorus challenging those who sacrifice individualism in the empty pursuit of fitting in. The video, shot at Mount Maunganui, follows the story of a boy stuck in a love triangle being teased by the girl he is chasing, while ignoring the girl next door who wishes they could be more.
Not only will they be screening the music video but will also be putting on a killer show with support from Betend Rocket. If you want to be one of the first people to experience the video be sure to come along. This is an event that you don’t want to miss. Limited tickets available so get in quick!!
