Shellie Hanley, of Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Hine, and Tainui Maniapoto, is a Harp Performer, Composer, and Visual Artist, known for her unique and beautiful harp compositions and performances. Shellie is bringing a multi-sensory and unique visual art and sound journey installation to this year’s Matariki celebrations on the 26th June at Venue 409 Church St, in Palmerston North. Shellie will be Combining a mapped projection of stars, nebulae, and galaxies onto the ceilings and walls of the Church Space to create a feeling of being totally encompassed by a galaxy while the surround sounds of harp, Tāonga Pūoro, and humpback whale transport you to another world.

DrXian (Christian Hogue) is an international visual artist. Raised in Palmerston North, Christian has traveled the world working on feature film and music video computer generated visuals in London, LA, NYC, Tokyo, Sydney and Bangkok. He has created visuals for bands such as The Rolling Stones, Bjork, Bon Jovi and SEAL. Now a COVID Refugee, he is enjoying performing real-time visuals in his homeland.

researchintospeed is ambient/techno/house/elektro performed live on hardware synthesizers & drum machines. researchintospeed loves the dance floor and its diverse peoples. You will find researchintospeed curating cross genre shows, dropping their own brand of four on the floor alongside an inclusive community at DIY spaces, galleries and warehouses.
