Gig Information

Tom Maxwell, part-time solo musician, full-time front man for alt-country band Killergrams is based in Arrowtown, New Zealand.

Members Tom Maxwell, Sam Maxwell, Nick Lynch and Reuben Pierce have been sharing their distinct and compelling live gig to great acclaim in recent years.

Sharing a love for solid blues, country and alt-rock styles, along with well-crafted lyrics. The band deliver a compelling live act that evokes moments of Neil Young, Ray La Montagne and Jeff Lang.

Killergrams have featured on RNZ’s Jesse Mulligan Show and have been invited to perform at both Dunedin and Southland Arts Festivals respectively, and have performed extensively around the entire country.

The bands latest material has been written by Tom after a busy year releasing a debut EP along with Sam Baylis in his brother Sam’s punk/rock band “The Seaside Stranglers” which included a nationwide tour and a special interview and song feature on Radio Hauraki.

The influences of the last year have come across in their newer material with more emphasis on the blues/rock elements of the band, however, the dynamics of light and shade that the band have become known for are still wholly evident within their new music.

With the latest Killergrams show you will have the option to take “The Red Pill” or “The Blue Pill” where each date will be made up of two completely different sets of older and newer material written very recently by the band, so each show that you wish to attend will be a completely different musical experience.

Killergrams debut album Midnight Hours and their EP “So In The Night” are available to stream now.
