With plays on BBC's Craig Charles Funk and Soul show and George FM, DICE_NZ certainly has an impressive resume.
On support we have local Legend, Dj/Producer/Crate digger...FLEX WEBSTER FKA Steezie Wonder lives and breathes music. With a career spanning 2 decades, music has taken him around the globe Flex attended the Red Bull Music Academy in Seattle (2005) and has won numerous DJ battles including Rumble In the Jungle and Dubclash. This man has an extensive record collection and will be diggin deep into his arsenal to take us on a Disco, Funk & Soul fueled journey
DJ/Promoter & Disco aficionado.... Luis Surcos will be ushering us through the Evening with his extensive collection of Disco, Boogie, Funk & Soul. with a tuned ear for underground 70/80's jams his distinct sound always pleases crowds. Before immigrating to NZ (2020) you would find him playing around well-thought-after venues and & small festivals in Scotland. He was also the man responsible for the infamous disco-infused night LE FREAK. he was also a frequent selector in the notorious flat 0/1 with good friends & residents, (Good Vibrations)
Mat Hoods has been mixing and producing since the mid 90’s, with tracks released on Filtered Deluxe, Plimsoll Records, Mabuk Recordings and Straight Up to name but a few…
We could talk about his influences or radio shows as Dig For Victory but to be honest you just need to hear the guy soon to comprehend the funk. Music from the soul to move your soul.
