Come get cozy with the awesome talents of:
Maggie Cocco's Science for Sociopaths: A solo art-pop project for voice and piano featuring song cycles that explore familiar themes in an unfamiliar way
Cloudy: Is either found delivering intimate acoustic based sets or rocking out with her full live band. Crossing worlds of alt-pop and indie sounds she brings forth an imaginative and unapologetically honest voice though her music.
YAHYAH: Their sound is a collection of the musical influences that have been thrust upon her - from jazz to rnb .. to pop and dance music. Her blend of electronic pop has garnered her serious attention and acclaim in Aotearoa’s pop scene, and far beyond.
Tori Thom: Sings songs with piano accompaniment that paint vivid pictures of our current reality, embedded in the capitalist politics of austerity and competition; often with playful and story-like effect. Some songs performed will be from EP 'Care of Billionaires' and others are brand new.
Women About Sound aims to encourage the development of a thriving diverse music community for cis and trans women and gender diverse musicians in Aotearoa
