Hailing from the southern reaches of Te Ika-a-Māui, Aotearoa noise rock trio First Move use the time-honoured traditions of drums, bass, guitar and voices. Formed in Pāmutana during 2017, First Move draw upon the influence of underground musicians past, the uneasy tension of provincial perspectives and the unceasing need to realise the creation of an other time and space in which sound envelopes. Their forthcoming single 'One Moment Please' is the first glimpse of the trio's gestating album set for release in due course.

Fouler are a four-piece band from Pōneke, by way of Te Papaioea. They have spent the last couple of years writing, rehearsing, and playing the occasional show including opening slots for Die! Die! Die! and Kane Strang. Fouler’s sound has been described as “Smoosh Room Doom” and “sort of like Gains but with vocals”. This run of shows will see Fouler play in Kirikiriroa and Tāmaki Makaurau for the first time, before making return visits to Meow and The Stomach.
