FOTA (Invercargill's finest) is a multi-headed musical hydra of swaying, trancelike tight alternative hard rock rhythms with blues/metal/punk/reggae undertones is a massive beating melodic sensibility. The slightly off-kilter hint of menace is ever close on the horizon, before the joyous, anarchic release of their next power-packed chorus.
Selective Yellow is an experimental improvising electronic research music duo
based in Wellington, New Zealand, drawing on New Zealand's heritage of
experimental music practice. Selective Yellow consists of musician
Chris Wilson (primary songwriter in electropop group Gold Medal Famous)
and researcher James Noble (Researcher of Wellington).
MSG are a group of fellas who expand and contract, like steel and rubber. We accept all forms of life. Mens Support Group, Port Chalmers, NZ. Jay Roddick (the F**ked and Level Hedge) Shakes ( Himself and the Troublemakers and the Swell Guys) Robbie Bruce ( Ocean Beach etc.), Jez (The Brit! Involved in all sorts of projects) We are doing a tight 5 for this gig but we are are fairly fluid numbers-wise normally! Expect a range of genres and sonic goodness for your ears!
