Following the triumphant launch show in Tāmaki Makaurau at Matariki, TE KAAHU is giving fans another chance to witness the wairua of the debut album TE KAAHU O RANGI played in its entirety.

TE KAAHU and band will perform at The Yard in Raglan on Saturday, October 8. TE KAAHU will be joined at the Raglan show by Komako-Aroha.

It’s been a big year for TE KAAHU, which is the brainchild of Ōtautahi-born singer and songwriter Theia (Waikato-Tainui, Ngāti Tīpa). The debut album TE KAAHU O RANGI was released in May to critical acclaim, earning nominations in the inaugural Rolling Stone Awards for ‘Best New Artist’; and Waiata Māori Music Awards for ‘Best Te Reo Māori Album’. The waiata ‘E Hine Ē’ is also a Top 5 finalist in the APRA Maioha Award.

The album has also resonated with audiences outside of Aotearoa with TE KAAHU one of only six NZ acts invited to play at this year’s Big Sound in Brisbane. TE KAAHU has a growing audience in Australia, Japan, the USA and Canada, where album recently hit #1 in the Top 30 album charts on Alberta’s CKUA Radio Network.

The upcoming Raglan show promises an unforgettable and immersive experience. Don’t miss the opportunity to witness the magic of TE KAAHU live.
