With six studio albums and multiple awards in songwriting, Anna van Riel approaches her craft with a sustainable focus, both environmentally and as an independent artist.
With blues-folk, jazz, and 80’s-influenced power ballads currently at the heart of her musical creations Anna tours both solo and with her band. Inspired by her mountain home, organically-grown food and building community; house concerts, festivals and creative workshops play a key role in her tour planning, and offer an authentic and connected experience to both artist and audience.
Anna is an indie/folk & children’s musician based in Lake Hāwea, New Zealand.
