fledglings is the solo project of Pōneke musician Clarrie Macklin. fledglings makes music of playful melancholy, storytelling, and unexpected harmony. Recommended for broken songbirds finding their way, fledglings writes songs for all parts of life that are precious and mysterious, set to acoustic guitar.

With support from the wonderful Tamar and LOTU, two of Massey University's finest School of Commercial Music's students and alumni, it's set to be a flurry of fresh music taking flight.
Tamar is a fresh face to the Wellington music scene with only a couple gigs under her musical belt, she is keen to share her deep and satirical lyrics with new crowds. Influenced by a wide range of genres and involved in a series of musical projects, Tamar aims to use that musical knowledge in order to fuse and formulate her husky blues voice into indie/bedroom rock tunes.
LOTU blends techno and silky house music, painting a representation of Wellington dance music. Through heavy bass rhythm’s and kinetic chord progressions, LOTU takes you to another dimension. LOTU has played for various New Zealand shows from Louis Baker to Client Liaison and shows such as the afterparty for the Vodafone Music Artisan Awards and various Eyegum Wednesdays.
