The 4 December is our “Good Riddance to 2022” end of year special, featuring return visits from four of our favourite performers from the year. There will be sets from Seamus Johnson, Danica Bryant, Beans Maries and Sam Aoake-austin.
Seamus Johnson - A solo set by the Seamouse. Watch in amazement as one man with a guitar generates enough energy to power a small planet.
Danica Bryant - “Deliciously sweet yet shockingly bitter” (Under The Radar), Danica Bryant is no ordinary songwriter. A pop-folk musician with a gritty rock edge, her songs sink their teeth into intense topics from celebrity culture and mental health, to gender dynamics and body possession. “All hard guitar and pain-filled howl” (The Hook NZ), this woman bites back.

Beans Maries - Beans blends gentle indie folk sounds with a unique lyrical style - their original
songs are rich with humour, honesty and carefully crafted wordplay, borne of a love
of language combined with a vibrant imagination. Since hitting town in June beans has taken the Wellington folk scene by storm.
Sam Aoake-auston - Sam has been singing his whole life. Raised by two musical parents, he has spent his life listening and learning, being influenced by some of their favourite artists, such as Whitney Houston, George Michael, Aretha Franklin, John Farnham, and anything blues!.
