Pōneke emo rockers Holloway, accompanied by singer-songwriter Tara Ruby Canton, will take the stage for a night of furious frivolity at one of Wellington's most iconic locales.
HOLLOWAY
Holloway are New Zealand's answer to the worldwide emo revival. Crackling with a 3-piece bombast and melodramatic flair, the band's literate lyrics and ear-worm hooks are, in the words of one critic, 'pretty and disarming simultaneously'. With on-the-sleeve influences from the sounds of pop, punk and edgy alternative, Holloway simply cannot be ignored (for better, or worse).
TARA RUBY CANTON
Tara Ruby Canton is is a singer, songwriter and actor from Wellington NZ. Flaunting a deft command of melody and songwriting, the candidness of Tara's lyrics hit different, covering an expansive range of dynamics and emotion using only guitar and voice. Riding the high of her 2022 single 'I Hope That You Don't Hate Me', and with a plethora of other songs in her discography, Tara's sonic world is a lush and ever-growing place to find yourself.
