Scott Cook
Canadian troubadour Scott Cook toured almost incessantly across North America and around the world from 2007 until 2020, averaging 150 shows and a dozen summer festivals every year. He made his first run around New Zealand in early 2020, with 14 stops including Whare Flat and Auckland Folk Festivals, before the world shut down. Back home in Alberta, he used the unexpected gift of time to finish the cloth-bound, 240-page hardcover book that accompanies his seventh album Tangle of Souls. The songs and book pay tribute to the folk tradition going back to Woody Guthrie, equal parts introspection and insurrection.
