It is Half/Time's absolute honour to have been invited to perform at FOCUS Wales (Cymru) 2023.
FOCUS 2023 is an 'International Showcase Festival' that kicks off on May 4th in Wrecsam, Cymru that features not only 250+ artists from around the world, but an entire conference programme AND a film festival!
Our main focuses while in Cymru are to share our music with an international audience, to connect with indigenous speakers of Cymraeg (Welsh), and take part in a cultural exchange with those dedicating their lives to language and cultural revitalisation efforts.
On top of shows in Cymru, we are aiming to travel to Alba (Scotland) and England to play shows, connect with our respective Pākehā ancestry, and link up with Māori and Pasifika diasporic communities based in the so-called UK. However we do need to fundraise for this massive (and fast approaching!) journey ahead, so if you are able to contribute to our kaupapa we would be so grateful!
