Alternative-Folk Rock band James Hunter and The Gatherers are returning to perform their final show at San Fran on April 20th 2023.
Despite the band deciding to part ways “We’ve had some amazing moments creating and performing together and we’re excited to honor those memories as we perform together for one final show.” James Hunter and the Gatherers are celebrating their final hoorah at San Fran (They previously performed there in May 2022 with a successful turnout) before they disband and explore their own future projects.
Joining the band are two fantastic projects emerging in Wellington, Floor Five and No Man’s Land. Both groups are actively creating fun and engaging music in the indie-rock scene and bring an exciting energy and excitement to their live performances.
This show will be their last showcase of the band before their third and final EP, “Memories of the Future” is released in May 2023, closing the groups chapter and mark in the New Zealand music scene in the 2020’s. (Previous released from this project came out in November/December 2022 in the shape of singles ‘Revelation and ‘Magenta Hue’)
