A Joni Mitchell tribute concert:
Separately, we have been devotees of Joni Mitchell's music and sang her songs since we were teenagers. I'm (Jan) hoping for Joni to win the Nobel Peace Prize for Literature!!! We're going to keep singing her songs and sending it out to the universe, that she is a marvel of melody and verse.... and deserves this honour.
Jan sings early songs from the Court and Spark era in the folk genre, playing guitar and is accompanied by Cadzow Cossar also on guitar. Caitlin sings the later years, jazz infused songs from Wild Things Run Fast and Heijra, playing the piano..
This long awaited concert has lingered on hold during the covid lockdown.... now it's time to sing !!
