Three Pōneke-based acts join forces to bring an evening of indie rock and pop to Moon in Newtown.
Search For Yeti are excited to be taking a break from recording their debut album to return to Moon with an exciting lineup of indie-rock/indie-pop goodness. They’ll be joined by Dateline, and Belladonna (performing a solo set) for a night that’s guaranteed to be full of great melodies and good times.

Search For Yeti have a sound which pulls together their indie rock, shoegaze and folk influences and smashes them all together into something that is uniquely them - for these guys it’s all about the vibe, whether that be a soundscape that wraps around you like a warm blanket or an abrasive fuzz guitar that knocks you over. Their new single “Red” is due for release in late July, with a second single due later this year and the full album to follow in 2024.

Dateline is the musical project of Katie Everingham, a musician and songwriter based in Pōneke. Dateline's music oozes emotion by blending earnest harmonies that hark back to early 00's indie pop, with the cool burn of UK guitar groups from the 90s. Dateline's live band has had a revolving roster of friends, including musicians from bands like The Beths, Na Noise, Hans Pucket, LIPS, Bub, Phoebe Rings and more recently Revulva & French For Rabbits.

Belladonna - Stumbling upon songwriting by happy accident, Bella found herself constantly drawn into music's storytelling, lugging around a tape recorder and catching snippets of glittery melodies and frank observations of daily life. Evolving from her seedling beginnings to her artist moniker Belladonna, her observations about the quirks of life became loaded one-liners, and her biographical lyrics and hypnotic melodies became the trademark of her fun blend of indie-pop.
