Tāmaki Makaurau 5 piece FLAXXIES are set to release the SUNSTRUCK EP this August 25th followed by a hoon round The North Island in the tour van. Reminiscent of a classic Summer Roadtrip the band will be bringing their sun drenched signature blend dub-roots-rock’n’blues plus packing some of their fav Aotearoa acts along for the ride.

Inspired by the coastal landscapes of Aotearoa, the 5 BFF’s have grown their sound, hair and worldview after 5 odd years of jamming, touring, leaving school, celebrating 21sts, supporting friends and heroes, sharing floors + cooking duties and recording and releasing music together.
SUNSTRUCK is their 3rd release proper and shows the development of their unit with a little help from legendary producer TIKI TAANE. The band hope to evoke a sense of freedom and adventure with Sunstruck and invite you to join them for the ride.
