Caught Inside are ecstatic to return to Tāmaki Makaurau to present blistering live performances of songs from their latest EP, 5 STAR SHAG. The project is the culmination of the band’s past few years in the capital city, drawing musically on their captivating live energy honed amongst other emerging Wellington acts while also being introspective and reflective. 5 STAR SHAG explores moving forward from past relationships, the struggles of financial independence, and navigating a world of illicit substances and double-meanings.
Caught Inside's hometown shows are never to be missed, and, following a huge start to 2023 that featured performances at CubaDupa and San Fran, the first stop of the 5 STAR SHAG Tour promises to be a night to remember.
Fiercely rooted in Tāmaki Makaurau's culture of music, SHOOLESS is the union of 5 expressive souls from every corner of Aotearoa. Cast from the hands of frontman/songwriter Guy Yarrall in a West Auckland storage unit, the SHOOLESS sound spans from visceral alternative rock, right through to expansive jazz fusion. With an anything- goes attitude to sonic exploration and a heavy hitting live act that guarantees the release of dopamine, SHOOLESS are pushing the boundaries of genre and sound.
