Great Failure is a 5 piece Indie-punk band from Auck Central. A bunch of queer teenagers playing relatable tunes about mental health and other stuff you can dance your heads off to. They were 2023 Rockquest regional finalists and have played a couple gigs at the Underground over the year. You're gonna love 'em!
The Rues are a four-piece teenage band from the North Shore. They describe their music as “indie music but 4 different people are in separate rooms with their own interpretations of what that means.” They will be playing original songs that focus on portraying music through a queer lense (and one cheeky cover).
High Voltage is a band of four from Auckland that plays punk, metal, and rock. Their band name tells you everything you need to know, they don’t tread lightly.
They are: Andrés Olán García (guitar, vocals), Reuben Ferguson (guitar, vocals), Kishan Harry (Bass), and Laurence Stewart (Drums).
The Usuals are a 5 piece rock band formed together 3 years ago at the band members' high school. Since forming they’ve played at major school events and other community venues, playing covers of classic rock and pop and some originals they’ve written for the RockQuest!
The band includes: Seamus Leathley on vocals, James Cassidy on guitar, Daniel Twine on bass, Tom Talbot on keyboard, and Finn Hoskin on the drums.
