Naarm/Melbourne's Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice, make modern punk music in the primordial sense of the word - no rules. Combining elements of synth-punk, new wave, full power rock n roll, avant-garde and surrealism. Their ethos is creative resistance - innovative and politically subversive - using music, performance, visual art and film to project a commanding message that’s equal parts critical and hopeful. Leading into their 3rd LP release, the band are touring Aotearoa for the first time, playing both weekends at Camp A Low Hum, as well as 2 sideshows:
- Wednesday Feb 21 at Valhalla, Te Whanganui-a-tara, joined by The Pink Frosts & Relay Tapes (Meanjin/Brisbane.
- Thursday Feb 22 at The Stomach, Te Papa-i-Oea, joined by Persimmon.
