On the 27th of March, the Valhalla stage will be graced by three of Pōneke's finest new acts in the vaguely indie-folk but we're not totally sure if that's the right word for it genre!
Combination Opener/Headliner Keira Batten Coogan promises to provide a spectacular solo set with their equal-parts heartwarmingly sincere and earth shatteringly devastating songwriting. Check out 2023's EP Lips Are for Talking.
The textural and at times experimental sound of solo-project-turned-five-piece-band Re:Ruby is on next, with brilliant, intricate songwriting and stellar performances as are so wonderfully displayed on their new album Unearthed and Obsolete...
Finally, folk-rock four piece Cicada will close out a magnificent night in a crashing flurry of emotions, broken strings and desperate, raw songwriting sure to leave you in a confused mess of joy and misery.
After the show, Keira's selling Zines and Ruby's selling cassettes.
Tickets $10 at the door or $12.50 on UnderTheRadar.
