SECTION 9 returns for a very special collaboration event with STRICTLY 138 ?
STRICTLY 138 is the original crew responsible for bringing dubstep events to New Zealand, paving the way for almost two decades of dubstep, and dubstep-adjacent shows. Starting in 2006, they brought some of the most recognisable names to our shores, including Digital Mystikz (Mala + Coki), Kode 9, Loefah, and Plastician. While some of STRICTLY 138's members have since moved abroad, many of them continue to produce and play music individually as artists.
In homage to the roots of the culture in NZ, we are bringing three of STRICTLY 138's members back for a one-time reunion show! Join us as we celebrate nearly 20 years of proper sound system culture, with some of the nation's finest selectas ?
