Powder Chutes have finished recording their debut album, and whilst this is being mixed ready for mastering, they embark on a four date mini-tour of the South Island to celebrate, and road test the new tunes live… Boom!
The gigs, (well, 3 of them), land during NZ Music Month, and they’re stoked that they will be playing with IVY, Mads Harrop, Superficial, Saint Peter’s Thursday, Rammshakyll and The Fatty Burnaties (formerly The Nookies)… a true mini-showcase of epic south island kiwi bands.
First up is the legendary Crown Hotel in Ōtepoti / Dunedin, with Audio Visual Dropkicks (who have stepped in for IVY at the eleventh hour), and singer-songwriter, composer, musician, and producer/engineer Mads Harrop.
This will be Powder Chutes’ first headline gig in Dunners, and their first playing The Crown.
Powder Chutes will also be sneaking in a cheeky live-to-air and interview at Radio One 91FM prior to the gig.
Other Dates:
Rhyme & Reason Brewery, Wānaka – 24th May with IVY & Superficial
Space Academy, Ōtautahi / Christchurch – 31st May with Saint Peter's Thursday & Only You
The Boiler House, Timaru – 1st June with The Fatty Burnaties & Rammshakyll.
