We’re not dead yet, are you? Prove it, this King’s Birthday weekend in the intimacy of St Peter's Hall Paekākāriki.
Featuring performances by Paekākāriki locals Rachel O’Neill (poet/sound adventurer) and Rosy Tin Teacaddy (RTT), with visitation rights granted to 80’s influenced Pelican (featuring Eb & Sparrow orphans Mr Winter and Gram Antler) and the horse play of Newtown improv beat duo Low Impact Bounce (one half being the drummer from Pashtag). Included will be a rare unmasking of RTT as their constituent parts; Andy Hummel and Holly Jane Ewens, both playing solo and somewhat untethered.
This evening promises to match the disquiet of the age with wordsmithery and whimsy; a mashing together of poetry, folk and dance music.
Doors at 7.00pm. Show starts promptly at 7.30pm.
