This concert at the delightful Harmony Hall in Devonport is a rare chance to hear the very best of Traditional Irish music. Órlaith McAuliffe on flute, Dylan Carlos on fiddle and John McCartin on guitar have travelled out to New Zealand to teach at Ceol Aneas. Ceol Aneas is an Irish music festival held in Nelson over the King’s Birthday weekend each year. This trio along with other tutors from Ireland and Australia will be teaching keen musicians who travel from all over the country.
The trio play the enchanting rhythms of Irish dance music, reels, jigs polkas, hornpipes, guaranteed to get those toes tapping.
The concert starts at 7.30.
Tickets are $30 and can be bought online at www.undertherader.co.nc or cash on the door.
