World-renowned UK darkwave, industrial, and post-punk innovators ATTRITION have released their long-awaited new album, ‘The Black Maria’ (Two Gods Records, March 2024), to widespread critical acclaim. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, ATTRITION are about to embark on their Australian & New Zealand Tour in October-November 2024, and are excited to appear in New Zealand’s South Island for the first time ever at Christchurch’s Embankment Tavern, on Thursday 7 November.
ATTRITION are joined for tourdates across Australia and New Zealand by Canadian ritual-ambient/ethereal project SUBTERRANEA, and at the Embankment by Ōtautahi’s own industrial / powernoise / electronic artist ACCLIMATE and improv avant-pop-noise deviants PLACENTA COOKBOOK.
