World-renowned UK darkwave, industrial, and post-punk pioneers ATTRITION have released their long-awaited new album, ‘The Black Maria’ (Two Gods Records, March 2024), to widespread critical acclaim. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, ATTRITION are about to embark on their AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND TOUR in October-November 2024, and are excited to return to Wellington’s VALHALLA TAVERN for the first time since 2018, on Friday 8 November.
ATTRITION are joined for tourdates across Australia and New Zealand by Canadian ritual-ambient/ethereal project SUBTERRANEA, and at Valhalla by Pōneke’s own post-punk romantics BREACHES and the sinister disco of WALLOWITCH, along with DJ VIRAGO (The Dark Eighties).
