Rachel Hird, Robyn Lynn Webber, Hanne Jøstensen and Don and the Divorcees will perform sets of original songs. Sharing a love of songwriting and using music to tell stories and convey a message, these local, original music acts present an evening not to be missed.
Rachel Hird is a songwriter and pianist. She writes songs inspired by people, places and events of the past and present. She is a member of Charlotte Yate’s Songwriting School and enjoys being part of the Wellington music community. She loves listening to local musicians and sharing her songs whenever she can.
Robyn Lynn Webber, kiwi singer-songwriter from Kapiti, was inspired by pop and rock on the radio at an early age. It wasn't until later in life she picked up a guitar and decided to follow her dreams to write songs and sing. Robyn Lynn's album 'Reflections' is available on Bandcamp.
Hanne Jøstensen is a Wellington based singer-songwriter, originally from Norway. Expect an intimate solo-set with carefully crafted lyrics that balance the personal and the universal. Hanne's debut EP 'Watch Over Me' is available on Spotify, iTunes and Bandcamp.
Don and The Divorcees is a collaboration among songwriters Beans Maries, Don Mackay, and Hollie Wright. They have recently recorded tracks towards a planned album release around the end of the year. https://www.youtube.com/@DonandTheDivorceesBand
