Drowning in spring-reverb and worn-in denim, One Eyed Jacks masterfully fuses the nostalgic spirit of Western sounds with contemporary Indie-flair. Bringing together elements of the reverb-soaked 60’s surf rock revivalist bands like the Allah Las, Sun Room & Mystic Braves with the lush, chorus-y anthems of Her’s & Mac Demarco and you have the workhorse that is One Eyed Jack’s.
Formed in April 2023, One Eyed Jack’s utilised Underground Venue as their practice space where their jangly guitar tones reflect the echo-tank, DIY space they were formed in. The band consists of Liam Wahrlich (The Raddlers, Kipper Reid, Mim Jensen), Sam McCartin (Four Down), Deni Sekerovic, Adam Purcell, Alex McCulloch and Calum Walker- all bringing their unique flair to the mix.
One Eyed Jacks started 2024 with a slot at the celebrated NestFest Mainstage, after previously having opened for Hot Sauce Club, Half Moon Baby and Jam Henderson. Since the debut release of their single ‘Swimming’ they have been far from idle, working hard in the studio to record their first EP and have extensive plans for the rest of the year and beyond.
