1.30 PM - 2.30 PM: Mauri Aura
3.00 PM - 4.00 PM: Toby Sussex
Mauri Aura Up Close is an open and inclusive session, akoako with the public to give more understanding about what tāonga puoro is and the paths that they journey through connecting to these tāonga. Come down to listen, experience and maybe even join in!
Mauri Aura merges the subtle, spiritual facets of plugg ambient, alongside hiko-waiata and taonga pūoro. Mauri serves as a vessel for the life essence which flows through us all, the aura present in the relationships between living and natural things.
Toby Sussex is an indie-folk alt-pop forged in the hills of Te Whanganui-a-Tara. When performing live, Toby's heartfelt, melodic vocals fuel a carefully crafted acoustic and live-looped signature sound.
