The Temple is a Pōneke-based alternative ambient band featuring saxophonist Peter Liley, drummer Nathan Carter and producer Jack Woodbury. Blending experimental saxophone solos, propulsive rhythms, and expressive ambient loops, the group creates genre-bending long-form sonic tapestries. Their performances are thoughtful and uplifting, presented as modern-day 'ceremonies’ that seek meaning among the music.
