Shaky Hollows, Dunedin's finest Alt country troubadours are playing a show at Pearl Diver to celebrate the release of their debut album.
After a brief hiatus following the debut EP 'A communion of sorrows' in 2017, singer/songwriter Casey Hilder put together a fresh new lineup in early 2022. They have been busy creating an albums worth of new material which is now due to be released on their full length album 'Inside a silver locket'.
The show will feature guest artists joining the band on stage, vocal harmonies courtesy of Lara Rose (Tall Folk) and on fiddle, Anna Bowen.
Physical media of vinyl records will be available for purchase on the night, get in quick before they sell out!

Shaky Hollows play traditional string instruments with modern songwriting sensibilities, putting their own unique stamp on the alt country genre. They blend together elements of Americana, folk and southern gothic, creating a wistfully melancholic soundscape. The lyrics weave gritty personal narratives of loss, love, addiction, ruin and redemption.
Lachie Hayes is a Southland born musician based in the Catlins, who plays a style of alternative, folk infused Blues inspired by friends, drinks, old movies, Muddy Waters, Bob Dylan and Robert Johnson.
In 2024 Lachie signed with MASSAV Records and recorded his new album with revered music luminary Delaney Davidson at the helm. The first track 'This River' launched in November, with the full-length album 'Subsatellite' out now.
