Introducing the ‘Dunedin Double’ Tour: two Ōtepoti bands, two cities, two nights, joined by one fantastic supporting act at each of two iconic venues, a nod to the historic Dunedin Sound legends.
This frigid Ōtepoti winter has inspired a certain two bands to head north for the lush sunshine of Ōtautahi. The Double continues Saturday August 2nd as both the Audio Visual Drop Kicks (as AV3K) and Achtung! take the stage at the iconic darkroom, alongside their Christchurch friends Juno’s Crush.
The Audio Visual Drop Kicks will be performing this gig as AV3K, temporarily shapeshifting from their classic four-piece formula into a three-piece lineup. This different dynamic promises a slew of new alt-indie-rock material, alongside some old favourites!!
Achtung! are taking their cathartic alt-rock noise outside of Ōtepoti for the very first time!! Don’t miss this band’s ferocious riffs and poetic songwriting.
Juno’s Crush are bringing their shimmering indie rock home to Ōtautahi, weaving bittersweet melodies with restless energy. Whether you're swaying at the front or lost in the back, Juno’s Crush will pull you in—wherever you are, wherever you land.
