A champion of forgotten jazz pioneers and heroines, Ali breathes new life into vintage gems. At Wellington Jazz Festival 2025, she brings two electrifying shows to legendary venue Meow.

The music was bold – the women even more so! Celebrate the strong blues queens who built
careers during prohibition. This show SOLD OUT at Edinburgh Fringe festival two years
running and was an opening performance for Copenhagen Jazz Fest in 2024.

selection of pioneering blues and hokum (1913-1933). Celebrate the brave and bawdy blues
