Following the success of his autumn tour in April/May this year, DOCJOC is back with a brand new set he is touring around the nation this spring. Touching down in 5 locations, this is his biggest run of shows to date, with a fresh new set packed with jungle bangers.
In 2022, DOCJOC (Jono Blackie) ignited his passion for melding live acoustic drums with computer and DJ - dominated music genres like drum and bass, sparked by his older brother’s idea. Inspired by the use of 60s funk drum solos in contemporary drum and bass tracks, Jono aimed to replicate them live on his drum kit. After a year of refining his concept, he debuted his groundbreaking live show at the Darkroom (CHCH), blending iconic drum and bass tunes with his drumming prowess. After SOLD OUT shows around NZ, DOCJOC returns home for a show at the Underpass.
