TARANAKI JAZZ CLUB - ON SUNDAY 5 OCTOBER AT THE PLYMOUTH INTERNATIONAL HOTEL
Due to the recent cancellation by Lisa Tomlins & Friends on Sunday 5 October we now have the replacement band of Nicole and the Swingers another well known jazz band from the lower North Island.
Nicole Chesterman Kircher the Band Leader on vocals and percussion, Asian Rowlands on guitar and vocals, Patrick Bleakley on double bass, James Tait-Jamieson tenor sax, vocals and Cameron Brizzle a New Zealand Music school graduate on drums, percussion and backing vocals.
American Cabaret style swing and jazz. A legacy of cool, sophisticated music that played in the dark lit clubs of Old Hollywood, Las Vegas and New York. Music inspired by Diana Krall, Michael Buble and Shirley Horn to the addictive jivey dance beats of Louis Prima, The Hot Sardines, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
Doors open 3.45pm for a 4.30pm start.
