Ōtautahi singer-songwriter Blair Morgan celebrates the release of his debut album Sunday River with a special hometown show.
Deeply personal yet universally relatable, the album’s ten original songs blend folk storytelling with indie-pop brightness and country-rock drive. Recorded in Christchurch with a band of local musicians, the record moves between tenderness and fire, carrying the spirit of places near and far.
Live, these songs come to life with the same warmth and grit that runs through the recordings -harmonicas, acoustic strums, ringing electric guitars, and the stories that tie them together. Expect an afternoon that drifts from intimate moments to full-band energy, reflecting the album’s journey “from the streets of Lisbon to the rivers of Ōtautahi.”
Featuring members of Florida Man reprising their key role to the music palette of Sunday River.

Support from Luca Joass
You won’t find folk-pop artist Luca Joass much happier than with a guitar in his hands and a song in his heart. Whether he’s busking in the streets, playing for a crowd, or at home on the couch, he’ll play until his fingers are sore and his voice croaky (and then a little longer). Luca wears his heart on his sleeve with his songwriting, weaving emotive lyricism alongside uplifting, sing-song choruses.
More recently, Luca co-founded video production company Neato Productions where he has directed music videos including a couple for Blair's album.
