20 Years of Singer Songwriters New Plymouth – A Summer Celebration! ?
Since 2005, Singer Songwriters New Plymouth has been a home for original music in Taranaki – a stage where countless artists, bands, and storytellers have shared their songs. Founded by Anand Rose and Dave Ritchie Smith, the event has been running strong for two decades, helping to grow and strengthen our local music community.
Now it’s time to celebrate this incredible milestone! Join us at Butlers Reef in Ōakura for a family-friendly festival-style gathering on Saturday, 22nd November. From 4pm till 10.30pm, the stage will light up with a mix of performances from artists who’ve played over the years – plus some special collaborations between Taranaki musicians you won’t want to miss.
Alongside the live music, explore a mini-exhibition of photos, videos, and recordings from the past 20 years, celebrating the people and moments that made this journey so special.
