Fun(d)raising Gig for the amazing Climate Activists who occupied a coal bucket for 23 days; halting coal extraction to try and stop Bathhurst's proposed fast-track expansion of a new coal mine into the ecologically unique forest of Denniston Plateau.
Come and enjoy a beautiful evening of music to help protect this irreplaceable whenua and the endangered species who live there.
Multi-instrumentalist Vivi Bloom will be playing a mix of augmented covers and original songs on Piano, Violin & Ukulele (at least). With support from the wonderfully talented Dead End Roads & Lo. We also have top-secret musical games to play (with prizes!), T-shirts and artwork for sale.
Koha will go toward legal fees for the activists, but this event is about more than just raising money. We're gathering around these extraordinary, ordinary people to help lighten the burden of the inhumane 'legal' punishments they are being subjected to despite the presumption of innocence.
F*&@ isolation & intimidation tactics.
Let's come together and raise some fun!
