Gig Information

This event begins at 6.30p.m. and finishes around 9 o'clock. It consists of four 30 - 40 minute sets of mostly original music. It is fully seated with Bar and Restaurant services are available throughout.

About the artists:

Opening the evening is Karen Munro. Her repertoire of original songs provides an eclectic mix ranging from jazz blues to trad to Americana. Accompanying herself on guitar and sometimes mouth harp, she also plays fiddle and mandolin. Her first album 'Across the Blue' was released a few years ago and she is now on her second which she hopes to release early next year.

Next up is Wellington based singer-songwriter Rachel Hird. She grew up playing the piano and studying classical music. Nowadays she writes and performs her own songs, best described as ‘songs from the heart'. She is constantly inspired by people she meets in the world of music and loves nothing more than to be immersed in the richness of it all. Rachel's songs are inspired by people, places and events of the past and present, disastrous and otherwise. She is planning an EP release in 2026.

Tracey Haskell is a singer-songwriter from the Tahora Hills of Taranaki. She claims music is her guide. Accompanying herself on guitar, she brings songs that are to the point and pithy with lots of evocative energy. Through the music she shares her experiences of nursing and caring for people, to driving, shopping, gardening and all the in between.

Robyn Lynn Webber is a kiwi singer-songwriter from Kapiti. She was inspired by pop and rock on the radio at an early age. But it wasn't until later in life she picked up a guitar and decided to follow her dreams to write songs and sing. Robyn Lynn's album 'Reflections' is available on Bandcamp. She will be accompanied by Paul Brady also on guitar.
