Listen/Watch: Steve Abel - Sidewalk Doves

In anticipation of releasing his third album, Auckland songwriter Steve Abel has unveiled new single 'Sidewalk Doves'. According to the musician, the track was inspired by Florian Habicht’s award-winning 2011 movie Love Story, and thus comes with a video comprised of footage lifted from striking film. “I was in New York recording when Flo was conceiving the film in 2009,” Abel explains. “When I saw the first cut of the film I went home and wrote this song in an instant.
