Caught Live: Twerps - Stranger

Guitar-pop four-piece Twerps are making their way over from Melbourne to play two New Zealand shows this weekend with a solid cast of local support. The group, which brings together guitarist/vocalist Julia McFarlane (who some will remember from her time with Wellington band Batrider) with drummer/vocalist Alex McFarlane, guitarist/vocalist Marty Frawley and bassist Gus Lord, are returning to these shores for the first time since their appearance at Camp A Low Hum in 2009.

However the foursome have been far from idle, in that time they've toured the States four times and made a trip around Europe. And last year they released their second full-length album Range Anxiety. In anticipation of their upcoming visit we dug up a great video of Twerps performing 'Stranger' lifted from Range Anxiety at SXSW last year.
