DarkSpace Festival Announced For Christchurch

A special one-night event has been announced to celebrate the first birthday of the 'new and improved' Darkroom. Happening in conjunction with their buddies Space Academy across the road, DarkSpace will see six bands (including Auckland-based acts Shaft and The Situations) taking over the neighbourhood for a special evening of musical mischief. Darkroom and Space Academy are proud to present...

DarkSpace - Six bands across two venues!

It's the one year anniversary of the new and improved Darkroom and what better way to celebrate than by throwing a festival with the neighbours across the road - Space Academy.

We are excited to have six incredible bands joining in on the festivities:

SHAFT - the legendary and longstanding band of songwriter and former Axemen member Bob Cardy, Shaft are readying the release of their anticipated new album.

NAKEY - featuring members of Doprah, Nakey are back together for a one-off reunion show!

THE SITUATIONS - from Papakura, South Auckland, The Situations recently released their second album Forever Scene Changes and are already working on the follow-up.

As well as local favourites MINISNAP , THE DANCE ASTHMATICS and WURLD SERIES! Plus DJs in between.

Get in quick because tickets to this event are limited.

This event is R18. Drinks purchased at either bar must be consumed on the premises and cannot be taken outside under any circumstances.
