Tuesday 9th August, 2016 9:53AM

Recently emerged Auckland band Magic Factory is a tight-knit musical family made up of members of The Raw Nerves, Cool Runnings, The Admiral and X-Ray Fiends. The seven-strong group take their sonic cues from 70s acts like Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Band, Little Feat and Dr Hook - but put their own unique spin on the country rock sound - as their first single 'I Don't Mean To Presume' illustrates. Word has it their is an album in the works, but in the meantime sink your teeth into this...

Magic Factory
are playing two shows this weekend with The Vietnam War this weekend, you can catch them at the Leigh Sawmill on Friday 12th August with support from spoken word artist Tourettes. And on Sunday 14th August they will be playing at the Wine Cellar in Auckland with support from Blazing Shade.
